Traditional Palestinian olive oil soap from Nablus, a city that has continuously produced pure olive oil soap for the past thousand years.

Nablus soap is the only 100% olive oil soap still produced in the traditional way. Made from three ingredients --- virgin olive oil, water, and soda --- it is cooked slowly on low heat, before being hand cut, stacked, and dried for up to 8 months.

Tbeleh's Zaytoon brand comes from family roots in Nabulsi soap making since 1611. For the last four hundred years, local soapmakers and producers have called upon the Tbeleh family to facilitate the highly specialized process of cutting soap. This is further demonstrated by the locals referring to the Expert Soap Cutter position as the "Tbeleh guy." In the 1970s, the Tbeleh family opened their own soap factory, The Nablus Soap and Cosmetics Company. 

All their traditional soap is Eco Certified Organic and Halal, containing the highest percentage possible, 82%, of ingredients found on the certified organic ingredients list.
